Brief Bio
Peter Ramm is a poet and teacher who writes on the Gundungarra lands of the NSW Southern Highlands. His debut poetry collection Waterlines has just been released by Vagabond Press.
Peter has been widely published in Australian academic and literary journals and has won multiple awards for both his poetry and education writing. In 2022 he won the prestigious Manchester Poetry Prize. He has also been awarded writers residencies with the WestWords Daffodil Cottage Artist Residencies in the Blue Mountains and with SCWC Wollongong Botanic Garden Writers in Residence Program. As a teacher, Peter has worked in NSW High Schools for over a decade and is the Head of Humanities in his current position. Peter has spoken at a range of State and National conferences on the teaching of English and History.
