I am very thankful to Michelle Cahill and the editors of Mascara Literary Review for publishing my poem The Sedulity of Soldier Crabs in Issue 28 — November 2022. It had shortlisted for their recent 'Resilience' Anthology call out with Ultimo Press. It is a stunning collection of works (poetry, essays, short fiction) from Australian writers. Edited by the formidable Michelle Cahill, Monique Nair and Anthea Yang to mark Mascara's 15th Anniversary, as their first print anthology, it has been receiving exceptional reviews.
Whilst disappointing to miss the final publication, I'm overjoyed to have the poem in Issue 28 alongside some friends in the poetry world and other wonderful writers from abroad.
