What a wonderful evening this was, gathered in the Music Lounge of Wollongong's Town Hall.
The evening was MC'd by local poet and Senior Project Manager for the Red Room Company David Stavenger who was generous with his openings and read a poem from πo. And continued through wonderful poem readings by Ali Whitelock, who read from her wonderful collection the lactic acid in the calves of your despair, Ali Jane Smith, Adara Enthaler, Nicole Smede, Tamryn Bennet and Lindsay McDougall.
It was a great pleasure to read alongside such talented poets and to celebrate or bring to conclusion the Red Room's Poetry month calendar.
My many thanks to the Red Room Company and South Coast Writers Centre for hosting the evening and inviting me to be a part of the line up. Also, to the Merrigong Theatre for their support of the venue for the evening.
