Today, I began part of my residency with the Wollongong Botanic Gardens and the South Coast Writers Centre.
Ash and I took the boys for a family picnic and walk through the gardens. Lots of photos and walking to gather inspiration and begin to pen a few lines.
The boys loved the rose garden and rainforest.
We fumbled our way down the garden paths, setting a two-year-old’s pace through the collections.
